On my 1st day of ISB MBA, my Statistics professor didn't teach statistics

On my 1st day of Indian School of Business class in 2018, my statistics professor didn't teach statistics.
He rather built a case why Netflix needed a recommendation engine after pivoting to online streaming with its Original Content strategy.
He later taught statistics tools used to build such recommendation engines. The professor is an award winning professor at ISB.
It was the most memorable class of my ISB journey not because of the content delivered but because the Professor wisely motivated us to learn statistics. Infact, I also applied various concepts from the class to later crack my management consulting interviews.
However, I am aware that not all students and young professionals are equally blessed with such ecosystem & that's truly the foundation of why we started Global Governance Initiative.
We will keep providing success upskilling ecosystem via handpicked industry practioners from #BCG, #Mckinsey, Fobes 30 under 30, #Netflixetc. till every youngster is covered.
We have touched more than 2000 lives via in person teaching and the journey will be upward and onward in 2021.
