I can't emphasize enough how much I owe my #learning and career growth to books. Hence, here's a list of my absolute favorite 10 management books that have taught me a great deal about leadership, value delivery, and entrepreneurship.

Hope you get a chance to pick a few of them to advance your #career too

1. The Art of War by Sun Tzu

Contrary to the title, you realize how much can you learn about management and team discipline from Sun Tzu as he narrates about best practices in war.

2. Influence: The Psychology of Persuasion by Robert B. Cialdini

I still visit notes from this book. I applied certain learnings from this book and got early promotions and cracked MBA admits. A must read for any ambitious young professional.

3. Thinking, Fast and Slow by Daniel Kahneman

I cant credit this book enough as it just didn't made me a mature professional but also taught me a great deal about living a different life.

4. Linchpin by Seth Godin

My first non-fiction read and I never looked back. Seth Godin beautifully lands the point of delivery and can you ever be indispensable at work?

5. How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie

I was gifted this book by a friend and I read it just at the right time when I was struggling to maneuver relations in my life. The narrative walks on a thin line between flattery and authenticity. I picked my favorite aspects and never struggled managing relations ever since.

6. Outlier: The Story of Success by Malcolm Gladwell

The one taught me a great sense of humility to me by explaining how a large part of my success can be due to the time, family, and location I am born.

7. Emotional Intelligence: Why It Can Matter More than IQ by Daniel Goleman

An absolute classic that helps you to grow professionally by learning both the importance and art of inculcating EQ in your life and career.

8. The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People: Powerful Lessons in Personal Change by Stephen R. Covey

Another classic on absolute needed things to crack big goals in life.

9. The Lean Startup: How Today’s Entrepreneurs Use Continuous Innovation to Create Radically Successful Businesses

I picked this in 2018 as entrepreneurship thoughts started popping into my head. A must-read for any startup enthusiast.

10. The Gifts of Imperfection by Brene Brown

Not known for being categorized as a management book but this was my go-to book as I had struggled with a quarter-life crisis when I was 24. It taught me to be compassionate to myself first as you cant be a #kind leader if you are harsh to yourself.
